About Me
I am a BPS registered Chartered Psychologist, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to my practice. My academic journey includes a degree in Psychology, an MSc in Health Psychology, and a PhD. My doctoral work was focused on intervention development and weight cycling.
What sets my approach apart is my lived experience as a "wounded healer" – someone who has navigated personal challenges in weight management that inform my work with compassion and authenticity.
I maintain full indemnity insurance and conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure a safe environment for all clients.
I believe that effective helping relationships are built on trust, empathy, and evidence-based practices. My combined academic knowledge and personal journey allow me to connect with clients on a deeper level while maintaining professional boundaries and standards.
