My name is Dr Mia Campbell. I am an academic and a health psychology researcher. I am a food lover and a bona-fide food weirdo. My size used to be the bane of my existence. I used to be a chronic dieter, but I consider myself reformed now. When it comes to food, I still experience the occasional frustration, but mostly I live in peace, I live joyfully, I live wholeheartedly.
When I first came up with the idea for FoodWise Psychology, I was thinking about the kind of help I myself may have needed in the past, but never quite got. I was convinced that psychology HAS to be the secret to sustained weight loss. I was only half right-there was so much more. And so I set out to be the student of my misery, and not its victim.

FoodWise Psychology is the result of 7 years of education and another 7 years of research in behaviour change. The service provides evidence-based and theory-driven approaches to help individuals make lasting changes in their relationship to food.
What sets FoodWise Psychology apart from other services is the founder's expertise and holistic perspective on health and wellness. With a focus on addressing the psychological factors that influence our eating habits, the service aims to empower clients to make sustainable changes for long-term health.
Upon visiting the website, you will find detailed information about the service and my credentials, ensuring that you are in capable hands. Contact details and pricing information are also provided for your convenience, making it easy to take the first step towards a healthier relationship with food.
In addition to individual support, FoodWise Psychology will soon be offering the option for asynchronous online courses. Those are educational sessions that you can purchase, download, and work through all by yourself, without ever needing to meet me, if that is what you prefer.
Furthermore, audio files for meditation will soon be available to aid in relaxation and stress management, important components of building a healthy relationship with food. To keep clients informed and engaged, the website features this blog/newsletter with helpful articles and resources related to food psychology and wellness.
With a unique approach that combines expertise in psychology with a holistic perspective on food-related quality of life, this service is dedicated to helping individuals improve their relationship with food and ultimately transform their lives for the better.
